my co-worker, jp, is a landlord. he was explaining to me how you can't be sensitive in that line of work.

jp: i evicted some people on christmas.
me: couldn't you wait?
jp: why?
me: because it's christmas.
jp: jingle bells! it's christmas outside, too.
